Prof Jo Elliott will share her experiences of working with students to improve digital learning environments and experiences. Jo will discuss a range of initiatives, including advisory groups, mentoring programs and partnership projects, that facilitated student involvement in innovation and decision-making. Speaker bio: Assoc. Prof Jo Elliott is Reader in Learning Design at Queen Mary University of London. She works with staff and students across the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry to co-create digital education projects and build capacity for the design of engaging and inclusive online learning experiences. Previously, Jo worked in the Digital Learning team at Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia, leading digital learning innovation and curriculum redesign projects. Her research interests include the role of online learning in inclusive education and student transition, staff-student partnerships, and communication for behavioural change.
