Good morning!

I can’t remember if I asked this a while back when I was developing pages for our website, but I am revisiting this topic and wanted to ask all of you:
Does anyone have a guide created as a handout or website page about simple things a student or instructor can do to adjust settings in Brightspace to be more accessible?

I’m envisioning a list of simple things a user can do to make the environment more comfortable or easier to work with, such as adjusting the size of their font, or changing the layout of discussions, etc. We have individual how-to pages for various features on the platform, but I would love to have a single focused page that serves as a one-stop shop for accessible features for an end user.  Also note, we already have pages about creating accessible content.

If you have anything like this and are willing to share, I would love to see it and use it for inspiration for developing our own guide.

Kerrie,
Brightspace already has some extensive information available at: https://documentation.brightspace.com/EN/accessibility/-/learner/accessibility_and_navigation_intro.htm?tocpath=Getting+Started%7cAccessibility+and+navigation%7c_____0

You could summarize some of these features yourself but it could be difficult to determine what information to include as individuals will vary in their needs.

Thank you! I knew about those pages and plan to add them to our site.
You make a good point against summarizing as it could leave important things out.
